Hinduism is a mix of Dravidian traditions and Aryan beliefs, so sort of. I believe, however, the Aryan invasion theory has been disproven, but I can't really remember what it was replaced with.

Aryans: race or culture?

Dr NS Rajaram
There is a great deal of confusion over the origins of the Aryan invasion theory and even the word Arya. It explains also the use and misuse of the word.

The evidence of science now points to two basic conclusions: first, there was no Aryan invasion, and second, the Rigvedic people were already established in India no later than 4000 BCE. How are we then to account for the continued presence of the Aryan invasion version of history in history books and encyclopedias even today?

The above just one paragraph. Please read the full article to get the complete picture. Thank you.

Actually, the religion practiced in India is not any sectarian ism like Hinduism etc... It is Sanatana Dharma, the eternal religion of the Atma which is based on the Vedas.

Aryans did not seem to have mixed hundred percent. They did not conquer anything officially like a war.

Aryans made people to believe that mantras would enhance or destroy people. People were either afraid of or believed for bettement and gave a path for the Aryans to flourish, whereas the Aryans had their own selfish views in life and they liked to enjoy life the fullest at the dispence of other people. With mantras they climbed their ladder to Kings and started destroying them by creating Castes based on birth and work.

This they did so that they can divide and rule others.

Aryans are thieves who have stole others life.
