why aren't bakeries open on mondays?

They are open here on Mondays. The one closest to my house is closed on Sundays.

I have at least 1 bakery opened each day of the week! ... well, I live in France, I suppose it's normal :o)

Because it would be their slowest day of the week and they want a day off too. So, Monday to them is like Sunday to us.
