the active ingredient in most the bug bite relief sticks is ammonia. try dabbing a small amount on the bite , it should bring relief..works for me

Take some antihistamine tabs (available over the counter) and apply calamine lotion to the actual bites. It helps take down the itching quite a bit;

Put a few drops of lavender oil on it with a cotton ball and hold there until itching subsides, 2 - 3 minutes.

I use Blue Star thats what its called, it stops itching fast..
