I think you two need to sit down and have a serious chat. Ask her what is wrong and if you have done anything to her. Ask her if she still wants to be with you. A relationship is nothing without trust and communication. She needs to talk to you instead of just torturing you and treating you like crap. Maybe you two have just been spending too much time together and are getting on each others nerves. Time apart can be healthy. Hope you get it resolved. That situation really sucks. I have been there and know your pain. Good luck.

I was sooooo guilty of treating my close family like that! Although, I didn't call anyone 'no good for nothings'! Instead, they just had to endure my vengeful silence. The only explanation I can give you, is this: People who didn't matter to me, didn't affect my moods. So, when I was mad @ the world , an outsider could be treated with indifference. & sometimes, to really piss off the person I was pissed off @, I would be really sweet to an outsider in their presence. I've since stopped this behavior, because I no longer want to punish my loved ones, in this manner. Now, when something is bothering me, I tell the person I'm having an issue with about. Before, it was as if I expected the person to have pyschic ablities, to know that I was mad @ them & to know what I was mad about. She is acting childish, but to get her to know that her behavior is hurtful to you, you need to tell her. But sometimes, people just need a big dose of their own medicine, because it's easy to dish & often hard to take!! Hope I've been helpful!! Its kinda shameful admitting to have had this kind of behavior, so I hope you appreciate my openness!!

For one thing, women are only that way to people they are comfortable around. Congratulations, that's you.
Secondly, there is no excuse for being consistently disrespectful and condescending. If it bothers you that much, don't put up with it anymore. You don't have to be treated like crap. Decide if it's more important to be with her or to be treated like a human being. We all have our days, but if this is a way of life, you may have an important decision to make.

I really don't know what advice to give, I have a sister who is the exact way and it makes me sick to my stomache, I tell her all the time, if you hate some one that much, leave. Why would you let her treat you like that? Life is way too short to live in misery all the time if she can't make you happy, leave, at least you don't have someone constantly running you down and making your life hell.

Not all women do this for one. But it seems like shes isn't happy with your relationship and she puts on her mask when the friends call cause she doesn't want them to know what is going on in her life cause she doesn't trust them.

What you need to do is get out of that relationship and find you someone that doesn't constantly insist on verbally abusing you.

Wow, I kind of saw myself in the person that you described ! I have no idea why we do it. Maybe we just take advantage of the relationship that we have with our man and expect him to understand. I feel awful after I treat my husband like that and I do apologize, sometimes... I don't believe that your girlfriend does it because she hates you. I guess she thinks that she could let out her frustrations on you and you'll just take it because " you understand ". Let her know that it hurts to be treated that way. If she's like me, she'll be okay with it.

Slim,
We females are kind of programmed to be polite. It's unfortunate that it's not being directed your way, but...
I think it may be a case of her not even realizing that she's doing it. We've all got to unload to SOMEone, and you're the most convenient target to get unloaded on.
I'm not saying it's right, though. Please point out to her as gently as possible that she's doing this, and I think you'll see a change. None of us wants to be a scapegoat.

And you're still with her Why??? Dump her!!!

Seriously, you deserve better treatment than that. However, you need to get to the root of why you are attracted to/ and attract such women.

If you are being a jerk to her, maybe you need to face your own issues and work on them before placing all the blame on her. i.e. are you doing the dance with her or is she dancing all by her self?

BTW - we are not all like that.

She sounds a little too comfortable around you. Disrespectful really. You might want to talk w/her about it (when she's not in a bad mood).
