What will happen in family therapy is the therapist will want ALL of you to face up to your roles in the issue and take responsiblity for it.
Don't expect them to automatically take your side.

Family therapy is probably a good idea.
The therapist should not be on either side, but will try to be friendly to both you and your parents. The therapist should help you and your parents to communicate and work out problems in a better way.
You admit there are mistakes on both sides, so family therapy will probably be helpful, whether or not you decide to go back with your parents.

if a therapist tells you what you want to hear then he/she is NOT a good therapist-------------they should tell you WHAT NEEDS TO BE SAID. Too HARSH?? what dont tell me they SPANKED YOU-----OMG!!!!! I am not siding with anyone here, but it is obivious that you feel you should not be punished for any reason. Everyone makes mistakes throughout their entire life and some will learn from the mistkes as others never will. Maybe your parent have been harsh---maybe not. Go to therapy and try maybe it will do all of you some good and help you all understand why things are the way they are--good or bad.

Sometimes, letting go seems like the easiest thing to do. But think about this: you've invested so much of your time and energy into another person; you've made a solemn promise; and you still know there's love, even if it's hiding underneath the surface. This website will show you how to save a marriage and avoid divorce, even if you're the only one trying https://tr.im/VtHvK

i'm no longer acquainted with the regulations in Kansas in view that I stay in Kentucky. In Kentucky you could bypass and fill out an element said as a MIW, which stands for psychological Inquest Warrant. it extremely relies upon on what the priority is to even if it will be granted or no longer. once you've a college counselor you may evaluate going to them and ask them for his or her help. It must be a relatives membrer right here in KY. As for weekly treatment, that ought to in all likelihood matter on the outcome of the MIW and performance to be ordered through a choose. you should also evaluate speaking on your pastor or a relied on chum, even perchance a policeman, for more desirable efficient preparation. good luck--you're in my prayers.

I think you should go. Your parents can't force you to go but they probably want a second chance and you should give them that. It's best not to be mad at someone especially if its been awhile because if something happens to them you would regret being mad at them for so long.

Oi Sheila,
