I don't think she's stupid at all. My parents had the same rule. Parents know a little more than kids (even if it's only a little more) so they're just doing what they think is best. There are important aspects of dating which younger people may not be ready to deal with. I know it's hard, but trust your mom. She's doing the best she can.

No, your mom is being very smart. She knows that you having some growing up to do mentally, physically and emotionally so that you will be able to deal with all the stuff that comes with dating. You will thank her later.

Actually.. I wish I would have waited and listened to everyone that said I was too young.

In 7th grade my bestfriend started dating.. then two months later started having sex. and now (4 years later) almost half of the town has herpies.. and they started with her.

Think before you do stuff girl. It'll help a lot.

She's just being a mom.... you're her little girl...get use to it. But listen to mom.
