I have black leather furniture and would like 2 walls to be red and the other 2 to be eggshell. I would like to use a zebra rug or ottaman. And then need to go from there. Any feedback is much appreciated ;-) I would like to do the comptemporary style. Thanx so much for your time!

Personally, I think silver accessories would look better than gold with the colors you've chosen. I see sleek, modern glass-topped and chrome coffee tables with this setting. I would use a red upholstered ottoman, and I'd top it with a handsome black tray and some silver accessories - maybe some wine glasses, a candle-holder, a couple of handsomely bound books (red and white bindings).

I think you need another accent color, in small "bursts" around the room. Just a hint, dropped around in several places. Find a good-looking piece of abstract art with your dominant colors in it, and if there is another bright, clear color, such as cobalt blue or turquoise, pull it out and use it here and there. Think book bindings, a vase in a bookshelf, a dish or bowl on a table, etc.

I think a big mirror in a great frame - either simple silver or maybe black wrought iron (but not too fancy, and not with lots of "curlicues" ) - would be a nice addition to one of your red walls.

My walls were eggshell I paited the wall where the fireplace is Candy apple red from Walmart and extended it into the dining area 2 walls, because it is L shaped. I put black wrought iron accents in candle sconces and lamps and a few decorative pieces. Everyone comments on how great it looks.

i might want to bypass with a coloration of pink that you want or a print for the pillows that contains pink and perchance somewhat army. With the white walls, you'd be able to apply white and army stripe or tremendous print for the pillows.

hmm sounds like an Asian theme would work with those colors. (minus the zebra rug)
