If the friend sprays the lobes with a numbing spray before doing the pierce, you won't feel it. Professionals have this. Don't know if your friend is a pro.

Yes, but you can reduce the pain by using a couple of ice cubes on your ear lobes before the piercing. They'll get a little numb, and it won't hurt so much.
Be sure to thoroughly CLEAN everything involved, including the earrings. Soak them in alcohol. Wash hands.
You're better off having it professionally done, but I'm a do-it-yourselfer, too, so there you go.

Everyone reacts differently to pain, you might think it hurt or you might think it didn't. If your friend does it for you, make sure she disinfected the earing/needle and make sure you put ice before you pierce and after....My friend pierces her ears all the time and it doesn't bother her, so she is going to do mine, i know it will hurt me a lil but whatever, that's what piercings are about.

Yes it will. I've pierced my ears a few times, but I used sterile equipment and actual piercing studs and another time with a gun from the beauty shop. I numbed the area with ice and sterilized it with alcohol before piercing it. I highly recommend getting it professionally done, it doesn't cost much and it's much safer.
