Photosynthesis takes place in plants only. This is how plants convert energy to live and survive. It's a process to use sunlight to break down chemicals to absorb energy.

Respiration takes place in both.

photosynthesis is the conversion of light energy into sugar by photosynthetic plants. animals do not have photosynthetic pigments or chloroplasts (except for some sloths which have algae growing inside their hair! but they aren't getting any of the energy made).

respiration occurs in the mitochondria of cells (which both plants & animals have). it is how both plants & animals convert sugars into energy (ATP).

plants photosynthesize only during the day (unless they are CAM plants) but respire both day & night.

Homework is a discomfort interior the ***, whether that's worth it and the implications of no longer doing it are low grades, low self-worth, hating college, indignant mom and dad, and awkwardness around instructors. the suitable factor to do is do basically the homework. do no longer attempt to think of, "I shouldn't..." or doubt your self - do basically it! you need to be clever approximately it, do the homework that's maximum extreme first, bypass away the little issues for final, take usual breaks, no eating together as working as that's distracting, NO television until you're thoroughly carried out.
