Best 4x4 for what particular purpose? Towing a boat up a ramp? High speed driving? You mean a Ford "Ranger" and a Porsche "Cayenne" I presume. You're talking about 2 totally different vehicles. Maybe you mean "Range Rover" or even "Land Rover". Who knows what you're talking about? Put some more info in the question.

for sure the Range.... Range's are famous in the desert, that should tell you all you need to know... oh and the Porsche is just a nicer lokking VW, not that there is anything wrong with that
