The Sun's rays reach every creature on Earth - all can receive Its light and warmth. Some, however, choose to turn away from Its rays. 'Tis not God that is refusing you.
Every human being has severe tests and trials during their life here on Earth. No one escapes these tests. There are 2 possible reasons for these severe trials. One is a natural consequence (punishment) for poor decisions, choices and behavior on the part of the individual. The other is for the education and progress of our souls.
Two things to remember as you are going through these tests:
1. God only sends to us that which will benefit us.
2. He never tests us beyond our capacity.
If you are being sorely tested it is because He believes you to have great capacity.
If you want to have hope and a bright future you've got to stop focusing on your life and start focusing on the lives of others. Consider your gifts and talents (everyone has some), and ask yourself how you can use those gifts and talents to serve humanity. If you do this your hope will return TODAY!
God speed.

Wow -- very much what i've been feeling lately --
i can't know if god is mad at you or not -- (but unlikely)
i do know, however, that even the experience of feeling there is no hope and no future can be a great learning experience
in fact, generally its the things that are the most painful that bring the greatest growth -- i can't understand right now why my feeling trapped in my current mundane and maddening career can help me to grow -- but my past experience with bad times shows me it can

I doubt that He is. I think you're missing the first part of the verse, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," So...when's the last time you read His mind? 'Cause last time I checked, I couldn't do it. Perhaps the reason why things are not working out for you right now is because the thoughts God has for you down the road are greater than the ones you're wanting now...everytime I've thrown up my hands and said, why, Lord? He has shown me why a few months down the line. Give Him time to fulfill HIS purpose and not yours and He will show you His thoughts for you--and His hope and His future for you.

Jeremiah 29:11 "For i know the plans i have for your.declares the Lord, plan to prosper you..plans to give you hope and future.v.12 then you will call upon me and come and pray to me and i will listen to you.v.13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart
I advice you to go back to your bible and read all over again Jer.29:11-13. Pray and listen to God.He will reveal His plan to you.He loves us so much.He wants us to have a good future.Do your best and God will take care of the rest.God bless!.

It would be beneficial to read the context of this verse first.
10 This is what the LORD says: "When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my gracious promise to bring you back to this place. 11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you."
He was talking directly to the Israelistes who were in captivity in Babylon.
As for your belief that God is refusing you hope, he does not take hope away from you. He provides grace, hope, mercy, and love. (And so much more.)

My bible quotes this as saying:
"For I myself well know the thoughts that I am thinking toward you, is the utterance of Jehovah, 'thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope.'
Why do you feel you are without hope?

"A. No hope. B. No future."
I'm sorry.
I can't imagine how painful that must feel to you.
I went through two years of bone-crushing depression, a little while ago. My account here is set up for emails... drop me a note if you ever want a stranger to talk to.

What happened, did you refuse to go to Israel?
10For thus saith the Lord, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. 11For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. 14And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

I think you should explain more! This seems like it could be an interesting question but I don't know what you are talking about!

No, He's not mad at you.
He's giving you grace until you turn your will over to His will.
