We're looking for a steakhouse, maybe, or sushi. Something fun, interesting, and not cheap. We're seeing Spamalot on a Saturday night.

Angus McIndoe's. Spectacular restaurant on 44th St between Broadway and 8th Ave. Great food, great atmosphere, great service, great location. And they are always mixing things up with amazing specials. You may even see a couple of "important" people in there!

If you're in the area near the BEACON theater, there is this fabulous diner/restaurant near 78th-79th street and B'way called BIG NICK'S. They are opened late night also, 24hrs a day. They serve just about anything. Try the Ostrich burger, it's my favorite. Also take a look at the menu book. It is the BIBLE of all menu's. For those who are hungry, try the SUMO burger. Over a pound of meat, you can even order it with Turkey meat if you wish. Anyway, enjoy.

the only position i appreciate at the same time as going to the theater is Jezebel's. that is somewhat south of the theater district, notwithstanding that is basic to eat there and make it to curtain time. that's type of southern cooking. the ambience is like being contained in the south. the position is fantastic. properly well worth the vacation,, everybody who has been there raves about it. except that, gotta accept as true with what others have stated, won't be able to bypass incorrect with Carmines.
