I am sure that the people that are for amnesty are in real life good people. I am sure they care about other people and how all this is affecting other people's lives. That is the main reason that people are for amnesty.

At the same time, those that are against amnesty in real life are good people too. Even though they want to send people that are illegally here back to their homeland.

I will be the first to admit that I have, on more than one occasion helped someone who couldn't speak any English out. I am NOT hateful towards any hispanics in my community nor do I go out of my way to make this a personal issue towards them. It's not about them personally.

Don't mistake that for me wanting them here. I still do everything that I can to make it known to the elected officials that I think this is wrong.

I just think that at this point we should agree to disagree before all of our accounts get deleted.

Yes Vegaswoman...That is true...

I understand that we realistacally can not send upwards of 20 million people home...what a dream that would be...

But at the same time our infrastructure CAN NOT handle this. We can maintain the levels of illegal immigration and expect our econmy to handle it.

The only thing I will agree with is all "illegals" are illegal. And amenesty for criminals is not an option. And yes we can deport 5, 10, 15, 20 mil people it will just take time. Saying we can't deport is just unreasonable. They should have entered this country "legally", not "illegally".

We already tried the immigration reform Vegaswoman,it failed hence the reason we have a illegal problem now. I agree most people think they are in the right with their arguments. But some dont even come here to debate the issue they just come to call names and yell racist and if they dont get their way they report you ,I should know I have lost 2 accounts. To all who come to agree or disagree ,we have that right because of our veterans fought for America, its only right we do the same.

What is there to agree or disagree about? You either support law breaking on a massive scale, or you want to uphold this country's laws. It really is as simple as that. Nobody can tell me that the people who are here illegally, from wherever, didn't know they came here illegally, in other words, they have knowingly broken our laws, and for that they demand to be rewarded with amnesty .... I'm sure the prisons are full of nice ordinary people who have been caught speeding, smoked some pot, or defrauded a company ... what's the difference? Amnesty for all then? What about legal applicants who are waiting in line to get their green cards? Suckers!! Why pay and why do it legally, when all the sympathy and all the goodies go to the law breakers who have waited in no lines and had no background or medical checks done .... and why should the rest of us pay taxes? Heck, if it's OK to break one law, why isn't it OK to break all of them? Talk about only wanting a better life for my family ...my family would be soooooo much better off if we didn't have to pay tax ....

II am not a good person and your kindly remarks insult me.
I want the illegals to go home and to take their noisy screaming brat kids with em'. Also, their pudgy little wives.

Everyone on this site focuses on illegals when in fact, the USA has an IMMIGRATION problem. We have too many people. The illegals are just obvious criminals we can easily shoot at. So to speak.

Too much of a good thing is not a good thing. Getting along as you suggest is not going to work here. We need to get tough and stop allowing so many peeps into our country.
I got mine, I assume you got yours ...not move those recent come a longs on out of here! Don't call us, when we need you to be here ...we'll call you!

Good point.

Why has civil discourse taken such a nosedive in our culture?

Has anyone considered pressuring the companies that make conditions miserable in the countries where illegal immigrants come from as an alternative to attracting them here to be exploited by yet other companies?

Just a thought.

I agree illegal aliens are destroying this country since their lives evolved around lying and document fraud,it's evolved that our own country is becoming full of corrupt people. I don't want to live in a country where deception is considered a normal way of life.We see illegals having kids out of wedlock with the expection that the government will attend to the kid's needs for 18 years. It might be different if they were not so irresponsible. Any compassion people had for them was lost when they were marching in the streets with Mexico flags demanding American rights, whatever that means.

Just because a human being is alive does not give them the RIGHT to flagrantly circumvent laws and borders of any nation which were in place long before that person made the decision to break the laws and cross the borders.

There is no right way to do a wrong thing.

I agree to round them up and since they like to build s-h-it they can build a big fence in the dessert and start butting them in it until the buzzards get so fat they can't fly and when the crybaby reporters start whinning to the public the get sent there to along with anyone else that disagrees!

We can agree to disagree if we can agree that pro immigration reform is not the same as pro illegal immigration.

Minutewoman, do you have any clue how many refused to march for that cause because they did not support the message?
