it shouldn't but if you have any split ends that means you need a hair cut soon.

Odds are if you have split ends on part of your hair it's the outside layer, the one that gets hit with the environment every time you go outside of your house. Underneath, close to the nape of the neck, that hair is always soft and shiny because it it shielded by the other hair. Best bet would be to have a lite trim to get off the splits and it will look better and feel better. Just remember once the hair is split it's not coming back, it's time for a hair cut. Good luck!

you need to get your split ends trimmed off before it runs further up your hair first. then use a hot oil teatment every 2 weeks. when you comb or brush your hair start at the bottom, don't start at the top that is usually what most people do and it breaks your hair off. the hot oil treatment will help if you have dry hair and use conditioner as well. might even get a good leave in conditioner for that matter. Have a good day, hope this helped♥!

Split ends are not contagious. I do recommend getting a trim about every 6 weeks. It helps prevent split ends. Also Bed Head makes a product called Split End Mender. It works really good.

No. I would recommend a trim 2-4 times a year. I usually get mine done twice a year unless I start to see the split ends and if they get too bad, I'll get a trim. Just try not to over damage your hair if you are getting split ends. ex: hair coloring, perming, relaxing, etc. your stylist can recommend products to help maintain your hair too so that they will help to prevent split ends from reappearing frequently. Good luck!

No. Its not contagieous. If you use any kind of Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner everyday they should go away in about a month. but at the end of the month. or right now. before you start using the shampoo get a hair trim. get at least 2 inches cut off. that should eliminate most spilt ends and they wont come back if you are consisante with the shampoo and conditoner

lol It's not contagious. If you blow dry, straighten, or curl your hair quite a lot, then you'll probably get TONS of split ends. It damages your hair quite a bit. Instead of using a curling iron, take a shower at night and put curlers in. Instead of blowdrying, let it air dry. And as for straightening, well...not much you can do about that.

Not necessarily. But, if you want to remove the split ends you already have, then carefully cut the split end off with a nail clipper.

No, but consider a good hair cut (hair suffers when too long, ends are weary from permanent contact with clothes) and use good shampoo and hair conditioner, maybe hair serum on regular basis.

Split ends are caused by dry ends of hair.
The natural oils in your hair do not work themselves all
the way down. If you blow dry your hair, that's what
makes / helps dry out the ends of your hair..
Stop blow drying and let your hair dry out naturally.
Also, use a deep conditioner on the tips of hair.
