Yes, Mistress She.
I can look in the mirror and completely accept all that I am.
(Sometimes I can even see 'who' I am.)

I am miffed that I can't seem to bring myself to go for my road test and get my driver's license. The idea of someone sitting there grading me freaks me out, and if I don't submit to it I will never get my license. I am 63. I am getting tired of the bicycle. This is something I am not all that happy about with myself. But I accept that this is where I am with it right now. As with so many things in life, every now and then you get these little grace notes when an opportunity to change something about yourself will occur, and if you are observant and ready for it, you can jump in and do something that has been impossible up until then. I am hoping for such a loophole with the driving thing. Otherwise, I pretty much accept myself for who I am and I rather like the way I have turned out. I am fair and honest and kind to people and I am healthy and not too difficult to understand.

I accept myself wholesale these days. I don't think I'm anything close to perfection, but I'm me and I'd rather me me than try and change for other people. I'm also self mocking, but I don't lack self confidence.

You're asking a lot of interesting, serching questions tonight, She...milk and cookies kept you awake??

I accept myself for who I am and I am both proud of my talents and inadequacies as without them I would not be human.

It's a fight to be the former...to laugh at myself, and admit my mistakes. I do better than most, but it's not easy. Especially if I'm around someone who takes themselves too seriously.

learning to love yourself and understand yourself is a tough one, but its better to accept that you can look yourself in the mirror and be proud to say that your body and mind is the best machine you'll ever own!
