Well let's see, we, humans, males and females are, contrary to what some might tell you, are part of the animal kingdom. To be specific we are classified: Mammalia Homo-Sapien-Sapien, from the Latin, land walking, air breathing, intelligent primate.
Now, having looked at the link you had, clearly you need to understand that Feral People do not freely choose to become, as you call them, 'animals'. Their circumstance, in specific their primal survival instincts simply take over. Read Lord of the Flies for a starter.

Feral children are abused children. The parents that abused them are monsters. Neither are animals. I think most of the people in the world are like feral children, God has not been raising us very well. Relax people, I love God, but I have issues. I bring these up when I talk to God too. But if God was more proactive in our lives, we wouldn't be so fkd. Just my opinion. No offense intended.

we ARE animals. it's nothing to do with will, it's a biological fact.
as for the question of feral children, is it your assertation that it was those unfortunate waif's free will to be abandoned in the wild, or locked away from human contact?
