Oil is the only thing to do to remove scabs gently. I would oil my hair and scalp with olive oil and leave it on all night (put a towel on your pillow to save your pillowcase). You can wash your hair with gentle pure soap next morning and the scabs will come off. You need to be very gentle and patient - it might take a few days to heal. Home perms need to be handled carefully and only left on for the exact amount of time.

stop washing it so much!!you are not giving the scalp time to heal first. next time before you perm wash your hair for at least a week and a half, don't scratch at your scalp or rake combs through it that is what makes your scalp irritated from jump street!!!!!! pre-grease you scalp 1 hour before or stir baby oil in the jar of perm very well. this will give a more milder solution and try not to leave the perm on as long as long as you did last time, don't scratch it when rinsing out perm with water as warm as you can stand it & wash hair with a neutralizing shampoo to restore ph balance. dont forget to condition well and still don't rake combs or brushes at the scalp it will still be tender

Let the wounds heal and eventually the scabs will go away. Don't pick and it. You might want to see a dermatologist or a trichologist (scalp specialist) just to make sure your scalp is okay - you don't want it to get infected.

i guess you must have scratched your scalp or did not base your scalp well with oil or vaseline. You mayhave toget something medicated to put on your scalp but do not get anymore perms until the condition clears up. it will damage your scalp even more
