Hi, I'm thirteen. There's this girl in my school who's perfect. She's realy punky/skatergirl type of person, just like me only without the girl part....
Well anyway, I realy like her and I think she's interested in me because that's what everyone's saying. The problem is, I'm realy shy and can't just ask her out.

You two seem like a gr8 match babe, but just remember this hun i am 18 and there is no such thing as a perfect guy or girl. No one is perfect babe.
Just ask her to go to the movies with you and chill out for the evening. If she's wise she'll say yes, you seem like a gr8 guy.

I'm 13 also and theres a guy @my school who is driving me nuts cause I know he likes me but hes too shy to ask me out to the valentine's dance coming up. Well any ways start out with becoming her friend. Do you know how to skate if not see if she'll teach show that your interested in her with out being too obvious. Then go for it. In my belief its sweeter when a shy guy asks me out cause that means hes willing enough to put the girl in front of his fears. If you think she's "perfect" and not only perfect, but also interesed in you, you need to grow a pair and ask her to do something.
Find some local punk band show to go to, tell her you know about some good bands playing somewhere and see if she wants to go. It doesn't matter if you know the bands or not, you'd probly be taking her to do something different, chicks like that, shows you can think outside of seeing a movie or going to the mall or whatever 13 yr olds do.

First off, I want to say that there is no Perfect girl(or boy either) but she may be the right one for you at this age.
You say that you are shy but you don't say if you ever talk to this girl. If you don't, you need to start talking to her, you could just say something like "Hi, what do think of what Mr.___ said in class today" or something like that. If you do already talk to her, just ask her if she would like to go to ___ to get a soda or ice cream & if she says yes, then you can ask her to go somewhere else at a different time. Start off slowly, she may be shy too.

hey, my son is 13 but its a long time since i was !!! i think i might try and get chatting to her about the things you have in common like the skate boarding stuff !! im 33 and a single parent and i find it hard to chat to a guy !!! if people are saying she likes you then im sure she will be happy to chat and then maybe once you have chatted a few times you could ask her if she wants to hang out and do something !! good luck with it im sure you will be great !!

I have to disapoint you: nobody is perfect. Having said that, if she is interested in you like you are in her, I really believe that things will happen naturally. Take your time, do not miss opportunities to let her know you like her (that does not need to be heavy or too direct!, if she likes you, she'll pay attention to what comes from you) and good luck to you.

You seem to have things in common .... try and bump into her accidently and I'm sure a conversation will start. You'll be ab le to tell after talking to her, if she likes you, in which case....ask her out.
