I have one crazy dog, but he's great. I've never seen a dog with such personality. Does anyone experience any of these things? He likes to roll around on his food before he eats it. Gets very mad when left alone and likes to destroy things when he is. Goes to the bathroom on rug when alone, on purpose. We have to makes sure he doesn't go outside alone, because he'll run into the road. Hides food under my pillow!! And he must have a bedtime snack or he will bark all night.

this is somewhat normal behavior for Pins. Note that there is no such thing as a Miniature Dobie nor are the Min Pin and Doberman even related. This breed requires a great deal of socialization from early age. Is one of the most difficult breeds to housetrain and train in general but if you like a lively energetic dog and have the room for it to play, it is great. I have 10. Former breeder, who now rescues. Have been breeding for over 40 years.

We have three. One male and two females. The male is crazy and attacks the mail when it is brought in. The newest female dolly steals things from table tops and waits outside my bedroom to see when I leave. If I do not shut the door all the way shes in like a shadow and takes anything she can reach, then carries it under my parents bed and promptly eats it. Dolly also answers the phone with her nose when it rings and then drops it when she hears the person say hello. :D

Min Pins are great dogs and soo intelligent. The only downside is ours almost bounce off the walls.

Hmmm. Makes me wonder just who is raising who. I have
a combination miniature Dobie, Boxer and Bulldog. She tries and
buries her food dish when she doesn't like what is being served.
Loves to chew on the cat, sleep under the covers with us,
and hops like a kangaroo when chasing a squirrel. She also loves to chase fireworks. We have to put her on a leash just to
keep her safe. I would confine your dog to one room with very
little in the room so the destruction will be reduced. Let your dog
out,if possible, just before you leave. Put your dog on a chain when he does go out. You may wish to invest in a training
manual to train your dog to behave better.
