Red Blood Call Deficiency is usally called Anemia
Initially, anemia can be so mild it goes unnoticed. But signs and symptoms increase as the condition progresses.

Anemia is a state in which the number of red blood cells or the hemoglobin in them is below normal. Common types of anemia and their causes include:

Iron Defieciency Anemia.....
If you lose a lot of blood, you lose iron.
Vitamin Deficiency Anemia......
A diet low in folate and B-12 vitamins can keep your body from producing enough red blood cells
Anemia from chronic diseases......
Cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, inflammatory diseases can interfer with the production of red blood cells.

There are other possible causes, but they involve some pretty serious diseases - and you would already be aware of them if you've been to the doctor.

My last CBC ( complete blood count) was waaaayyyy below normal, and I actually asked about caffeine ( coffee and tea) being the cause. Both doctors told me no - that basically I just wasn't eating right - and smoking wasn't helping me one little bit either.
They put me on 4 multi-vitamins a day for the first month, then taking it down to just one a day after that. ( don't do this without a doctors advice)
I started eating more fruits, veggies and meat, took lots of vitamin C and stopping smoking. Within 6 weeks, my CBC came back just fine.

So I definitely wouldn't worry about the caffeine at this point, unless your doctor tells you he is concerned about it.

Some types of cancer or tumor, impaired kidney or liver function, or maybe a thyroid disorder, to name a few of many possible causes.
I've never heard of caffiene causing something like this. If so, I'm in trouble.
