What is the best way to inform a stranger that I find their obesity physically repulsive?

Where ever I am, I find over weight people. I feel that honesty is the best way to deal with these individuals, but haven't found a way to honestly express how repulsive their girth is, without having them take offense.

Then, give them a celery stick while you eat the cake in front of them.

I don't know where you got the idea that honesty is the best policy. It isn't. In fact, people tell lies about other people all the time to spare them embarrassment. These little white lies are just something that well balanced people who have been raise right (and many who haven't been) just do. That's something people do in all societies. Why do we do it? To avoid conflict. Confrontational people end up losing friends, getting arrested, feeling bad about themselves, and spending life alone. Therefore, confrontation is bad.

Of course, there are times when one must confront people. Obviously, law breakers or people who are either going to harm themselves, you, or others must be confronted. When it's important, confrontation is necessary. But maturity and experience let us know when it is appropriate to confront someone.

Letting people know that you find their obesity physically repulsive is one of those things that maturity and experience would tell you not to do. Number one, it's just mean spirited and will do nothing to help the person who is obese. You'll just hurt them. What good is that? Number two, obese people know that they aren't beautiful. You're idiocy isn't going to tell them something they don't know. Third, if you catch the obese person at the wrong time, you might be surprised to get your *** kicked. Worse, maybe the obese person takes it out on his wife, his kid, or his dog. Do you want to be responsible for that???

FOURTH, NO ONE GIVES A DAMN WHAT YOU THINK!

Fifth, obese folks often can't always help their condition. Genetics has something to do with it and American life has something else. Diet is part of it, but how many people fail in their diets in America. Over 90%. You assume that all they need to do is have will power. That has been proven to be false in study after study. Why kick someone when they are down when they can't necessarily help it?

Sixth, I see that you are a young person, if you avatar photo is any indication. However, you won't be young and thin your whole life. Like most people, you will grow old and will probably be fat like everyone else. So you might one day be walking down the street and some asshole will come up to you and say "I find your obesity physically repulsive." As such, the Karmic circle will be complete.

People are overweight for all different reasons. While I agree that the 400lb man that eats 4 chickens can be repulsive I do not feel that it is my place, nor yours to inform them. If you are somewhere and you find somebody repulsive its best to turn around, walk away or look the other way. Remember there are all different types of people in this world, fat skinny, tall, short..etc. Put your shoe on the other foot....Maybe the fat guy finds you repulsive in some way too.

Try dressing up like an angel. Go up to the fat people and say the following:

I am an angel and I have been sent to earth to inform you that you obesity has been duly noticed by your fellow human beings.

If they have food in their hands.....use you angel wand and smack it our of their hands yelling....you are currently too heavy to earn your angel wings so please back away from the food and loose some weight so we can fly happily together in circles around the pearly gate welcoming the thin people to heaven.

Reach into your back pocket and extract a weight watchers program guide. When they take the guide bless them with your angel wand and back away from the obese person saying...god loves thin....over and over again.

If this does not work for you try this. Mind your won business and learn that this is not your world and no one cares if you find obesity repulsive as you are not our leader here on earth...you knucklehead.

The best way to deal with these people is to be sensitive and not say anything mean to them at all. These people may feel very insecure about their weight. I have a friend who is overweight and she has zero confidence in herself. The best thing to do is keep quiet.

Thats really strange dude. I see people all the time with things about them I find repulsive or not attractive but a normal person would just keep going and not make an issue out of it. Only a super control freak would obsess about something like that.
