I got my nose pierced like 6 days ago.. while I was cleaning my nose ring, it fell out. I tried putting it back it but it won't go in all the way.. has it closed up? It's only been about half an hour since my nose ring has been out. Please someone help me ASAP before it closes!!

The same thing happened to me, mine closed up really quickly within half a hour or so, youve got two choices either leave it closed and get it redone or just force it through this will be very painful though. I left mine closed!

Okay, relax. New piercings of any kind, as in less than a week or two old, are more likely to close and heal quickly within an hour or so. Nose rings go pretty fast because the hole is so small. What I'd suggest you do it take it out so that if it does close up it wont close around the ring. If that happens you have to have it removed by a doctor. Mine got sucked into my skin and I had to have it cut out. You are better off to take it out to avoid infection and a nasty scar from having it removed. My scar isn't big, it's about the size of a pore but the longer you wait and the more that has to be done the worse it will be. Take it out and go to you piercer as soon as you can. Be careful if you get it redone. Do NOT do it yourself, straight needles don't remove cartilage and you also run the risk of pushing the needle through your nose all the way. They do it a special way to prevent wrecking your nasal passage. Talk to a doctor and your piercer. My doctor actually told me that he sees more girls with nose rings gone wrong than anything else. Be smart, see professionals!

it won't have closed up already I have my nose pierced too and it has fallen out in my sleep don't ask how but it has I actually lost my nose ring for a few days :( finally found it and it is so hard to put back in I was trying on and off for an hour finally I mastered the technique mine is a Cork screw kind and I will try my best to explain how I put it back in use the mirror in your bath room but make sure if you are doing it over the sink that you either put a towel down in the sink or the plug just incase you drop the nose ring it doesn't go down the drain you have to match up the end with the hole duh!! lol and then push in and kinda twist it and pop it in it will hurt because it is new but keep trying give yourself a break or 2 and come back to it sorry it is very hard to explain on here... or if you can go back to the person who pierced it I'm sure this happens all the time .... good luck

Go back to the person who did the piercing. Why give yourself hours of pain. Let them do it. They're experts and it will take just a few seconds.

If possible you could go to the person who pierced it and have them put it back in.I had to do that with my ear cartilage once because it came out and was all swollen.

get a cream like savlon or germalene and dip the stud in it it will help it glide also put your finger at the back of the hole to help you feel if youre going the right way

this is serious emergency! I
I have periced my ears befor, I mean with a sewing needle, and rubbing alchol!
my earing first stayed for like about 3 days, but because i was avoiding my paents about it, i toke it off while i was having dinner, and after dinner, I couldn't put it back!
I used a sewing needle, and rubbing alcohol, again... and with the sewing needle, i went thought it quickly, there was popping sounds, just like when I periced it, but when the last layer of skin got poked though, it was ok.
there was a little blood, but my perice was ok.
this is safe, and tidy.
