Eh, I know some people have lazy eye. I myself have it, but I can control it. Only when I get really tired, or my eyes are really stressed does it come about. And really, all it does, is my eye will float off to the side, or the inside, making me see double of what I am focusing on. I do not know the medical term for it, but I do know it isn't a bad thing. Look at the direction of her head, if it is in yhour direction, then she is looking at you. Most people do that with habit of talking to someone, I know I do. I never talk to someone from the corner of my eye.

It's known as strabismus (cross-eyes).
One eye is the dominant eye, and the other hasn't learned to work with the dominant eye. The ability to work together is called binocular vision.
The one looking at you is the one that is the dominant eye, or focused eye.
This is because the eye that is looking away from you does not have you in its fovea, or focused center of sight.

My cousin has this. There are medical terms for it, but mostly its called lazy eye.
The one that is looking at you is focusing. The other one probably doesn't see all that well, if at all.

I have no idea what its called, but I would look her in the eye that's looking at you. It'll be easier for you.
