he is from the uk and his firm has an office he but they will not transfer him till he gets a visa. Would it be faster if he married me as i was born he and i am a citzen. I am only asking because we are having a baby and it is due on 9-27-07. And i want him close to me asap would be better for him to apply for the work vista or the marriage one.

If you plan to marry anyway I would just do that. I would think it would most certainly speed things up if nothing else. Congrats on the baby. Hope everything works out for you two so you can be together sooner rather than later.
P.S. You might even wanna see if his company couldn't possibly help move things along faster.

I think he would probably have better luck with the marriage visa. Hopefully since he is from the UK, he will have a good chance, but just because he applies for a work visa doesn't mean he's going to get it. He could very easily get denied.

You guys might want to start consulting an immigration lawyer. You have to apply in his behalf for a marriage visa, then, once he is here, I think you have 6 weeks in which you have to get married.
