What are the consequences of believing Social Darwinsim?

Well evolution doesnt postulate social darwinism so I fail to see the relevance of the question. At the very least its in the wrong section.

I don't know about Marx triggering the women's movement. I guess if everybody in society was equal, then women would be too. But I've never heard that theory.

If you believe social Darwinism, you don't bother helping poor, sick, mentally ill, mentally challenged, brain damaged, or young/old people. They're not the strongest, so they'll just have to falter on their own. It's a little unfair. No social programs to help out those who need help.

The consequences of "social darwinism" (not an idea Darwin ever had) have so far been: Communism, Capitalism, Fascism, Philanthropy and Greed. Truly all things to all men.
