Headaches can be caused by a lot of things.
Stress
Migraines
Poor eyesight
Heat
Cold
Or they could be the result of something more serious like cancer and brain tumours.
Medication usually helps stop the pain. I have gotten into the habit of taking a supply of panadol with me wherever I go.
Get your sight tested to make sure everything is fine with your vision.
Try not to stress at the smallest things, and if you live in a hot environment, try to combat your exposure to heat by staying cool, likewise if you are living in a cold environment.
If you take medication and the pain does not recede after say an hour, please see your doctor for further assistance.

Do not sleep for at least 3 hours after a meal. This is most important. 1. First 3 days Drink 2 glasses of water before each meal. So total should be 6 glasses a day. Stop all other liquids. For example if you take lunch at 2.00 pm, take 1 glass each at 1.00 and 1.30 pm. Some deviations from suggested times are ok. Do not drink water after 7 PM. 2. Next 2 days Reduce water intake to 3 glasses day. 1 Glass before each meal. 3. Next 2 days Reduce water intake to 1 glass day. 4. Next Repeat 2 and 3 again and again. After 1 month repeat 1,2and 3.

I saw a neurologist a few yrs ago for a similar problem. His advice was simple: nothing with preservatives or additives. IN other words-eat nothing that comes in a bag, box or can and cut out caffeine. I was a pure ***** for a couple of wks., but lost 40 lbs in 2 mths and was headache free without synthetic drugs.

You may be suffering from a distortion in the upper cervical spine. namely, the first to vertebrae called C! and C2. The nerves that emit from these areas supply and coordinate the eyes, ears, nose, throat and the brain. If there is a nerve supply interruption in this area you may experience ringing in the ears, sinusitis, dizzy spells, headaches, vertigo and in some cases insomnia. Check with your local chiropractic doctor.

That's an impossible question to answer. Headaches can arise from a variety of causes, such as stress, high blood pressure, congestion, too little caffeine, too much caffeine, tension, clots, cysts, tumors, lack of sleep, infection, dental problems...and on and on.

lots of things can cause headaches - sugar, caffeine, chocolate...you have to kind of test yourself. also, drink a lot of water - you could be somewhat dehydrated. try drinking water and tea (herbal) and nothing else for a few days - let your system clear out...hope that helps. I get them also but I usually know what causes them.
