Questions get posted here all the time that are written in such a way that assumes the answerer is a Christian. But when I try that with Pagan content, I get insulted. And worse, I get insulted by Christians - the same ones who claim their religion is one of peace and love and blessing them that curse you.
The atheists aren't much better, by the way. Sometimes it really seems like the only decent people here are either Pagans or agnostics. I know that's a generalization, but it SEEMS that way sometimes.
This is "Religion and Spirituality," not "Christianity." Christians (and atheists, for that matter) - you do not hold the copyright on spiritual beliefs. Get over yourselves.

Just start your question with "Pagans:" or "Christians:" or whatever. The rest of us *should* leave you alone - and if not, they deserve whatever they get.

I read your other question and had nothing to give on it. The atheist that made a comment put down the christian that was calling you a tool of Satan and then said air was for breathing. If saying air is for breathing isn't lighthearted or funny to you, you may want to consider converting to Christianity as you are so persecuted.
There was a troll in there too that answers rudely to everyone questions no matter what they are.

Christians are touchy about Paganism because they don't want people to know how much they've stolen from it. Athiests treat Paganism as being in the same family as Christianity, which it is. Agnostics don't care one way or the other.

You make a good point, and if the question is phrased in a clear way so it is clear that you are looking for the insider's view of a specific understanding, I would hope that people would be considerate. (unfortunately many questions are not clear, and many people are not considerate, but hey, do the best you can.)

I enjoy the pagans... I don't think many people get brainwashed into that by their parents.
