parents prefer to have their child sent there instead of agnostic atheistic failing public schools? I personally think it`s because the bible is taught there with no restrictions. Even in christian schools parents are whining about religion being forced upon their kids. Even though they FREELY put them there. Private christian schools have rules to follow and discpline which the public is lacking;and respect for authority. Even muslim parents send them there because they know their gonna get a better education. 52 public schools have been shut down in the city I`m near because they don`t allow bibles and the people who run that city are lost.

Excuse me? How is a public school Agnostic or Atheistic? They're not run by pure Agnostics or pure Atheists. You really have no clue what you're talking about. The only reason why private schools teach more advanced things is because you pay for them, where as public schools are paid through your taxes. Go preach to a different choir.

i don't know if the public schools are agnostic or atheistic but i do know that they are failing. in my private (yes and christian) school, we had students come from public schools and the tested two or three grade levels behind the rest of the student body. i don't know if the fact that the bible is taught freely actually makes the students better but when children are enrolled in a private school, they have no reason not to know exactly what kind of teaching their children are getting. i think that the bible is a great book to teach to your children because face it the worst thing they may get is the ten commandment and then they may not kill each other. is that such a bad thing?

Interesting question. First I believe your wording "agnostic atheistic failing public schools" shows a slight bias.
Second, public schools have issues that are not religiously based. They have massive class sizes where the Christian schools are smaller. They are also grossly underfunded. These problems will not disappear if Bible study becomes a course or the 10 Commandments are hung in the doorway. This is why parents send their kids to private school, and sometimes Christian school. The trade-off, however, is that they will learn a biased view on all subjects (excluding math).
Christians view their book as love and truth...The rest of us see it as a work of fiction that has fueled hatred and arrogance in unprecedented degrees

It's not that private schools are "bad." Parents get frustrated with them because Christian schools are totally different than public schools. I have taught in both schools, and the biggest difference is discipline. Public schools redirect students. They aren't taught that their actions are wrong, they're just moved away from what they were doing. Children need to learn that actions have consequences. How can children learn that when their parents don't even realize it?

I don;t think of the reality that the college is christian is what makes it proper yet incredibly that that is inner maximum. I went to a unfastened inner maximum highschool in Oklahoma city. It had no faith, became very sparkling and freed from violence. It became a technology and math college, so we've been given information incredibly than dogma. Creationism became laughed at by utilising the biology branch. all and sundry isn't searching for non secular faculties, they are searching for inexpensive inner maximum faculties. It purely occurs that many inexpensive inner maximum faculties are non secular.

We must be candid about the reasons. Parents can demand accountability from Christian schools, no such luxury is afforded by state schools. A bit like atheists. They are not accountable for their actions.

Seems strange to have such an uproar about the Bible of all books. Guess teaching things like love isn't in these days.
