Pasadena and The San Gabriel Valley is good. There is a plaza called San Gabriel Square. They have some of the best Chinese restaurants around.
As for Pasadena, walk along Colorado Blvd. and shop to your heart's content. Dine at The Cheesecake Factory.

Oh gosh, There is so many nice this about Los Angeles and bad things to see. I would sugest going to the Malls. Or the Grove. Or The City walk. Many things you can do.

yes, do as paris hilton said.. u can do all the fun in LA. shopping, clubbing (yes, especially clubbing), rollerblading (plus other sports), eating, drinking, beautiful and handsome ppl, anything.. u mention it, LA has it all.. :)
