Well violent muslims aren't the only ones i am afriad of. I am afraid of all the violent terrorist and people out there.

The best thing is that we all stick together and communicate worldwide. This suppsoed "War on Terrorism" will NEVER end. To be honest. Yet we can successfully curb terrorism and better protect our people.

All countries must put in plans to disengage and stop supporting terroist organizations. They need to perform raids and dismember the organizations. Also we need education to the young people of the world. How to follow Islam in a peaceful manner or any other religious or nonreligious life.

UPDATE:
People, there is nothing implied with the person's question that he is stereotyping ALL MUSLIMS as violent. That is why he said "violent muslims" and not just muslims. Don't be so quick to judge.
We all recognize that the VAST MAJORITY of adherents to the Islam faith are peaceful and loving. At least I do.

Even if we accept the accusation that "violent Muslims" are to blame for 9-11, and it seems clear that many high up don't believe that it is true, they have damaged very few people, and have not come close to destroying "our way of life". On the other hand, the current war extravagances, and the killing of a couple hundred thousand citizens of Iraq, and the repressive laws passed by the current administration are going far to do so.
About 9-11; there has been no trial finding Bin Laden Guilty. One wife of a victim sued in court to get "discovery" (the legal term for finding out what really happened,) and a N.Y. judge blocked it. Someone high up knows, and does not want us to know what happened.

First of all, keep in mind that violent people (they are by no means all Muslim!) are the minority, not the majority. That puts them into perspective.

Second, look at all of history, which also puts things in perspective. Be aware that you are "in fear" of them because of 9/11 and the current war, not because there has been any consistent jihad against Westerners for centuries, but because of the happenings of "only" the last six years.

Third, pick up a copy of Gavin de Becker's "Fear Less: Real Truth About Risk, Safety, and Security in a Time of Terrorism." The man is a top security specialist and knows whereof he speaks.

And lastly, consider promoting the organizations in the world that are working to find *diplomatic* instead of forceful solutions, and working to help the countries with the worst poverty and oppression, since most people who are drawn into terrorism are those who are so angry about something--usually the unfairness life has dealt to their families, in contrast to what they see as the charmed life of the westerners--that they are easily seduced into violence. Happy people are rarely violent.

If you don't want to live in fear, then you need to cultivate the causes and conditions to live as such. For starters, learning to cultivate patience and compassion, while learning the reality of the fact that Islam isn't the problem, it's people who use religion to further their own agenda, and it's the same kind of people who use Christianity to further their own agenda against other people who they believe they're better than too, based on the same incorrect thinking you're sharing with us here.

The end to prejudice, arrogance, ignorance, which are the core seeds of hate, which ultimately causes harm, begins with each and every one of us. When we all cease our arrogance and subdue our egos to understand that the world doesn't revolve around us, but that we're a larger part of humanity, we will find the world is a whole lot less frightening.

Take your mind out of it's current mind set.

Now visit history ... how did the Christians feel when Hitler started speading his genocide? Most Christains didn't bond with Hitler. The Vatican sheltered Jews ... and Britian (Christain) called allies against Hitler ... in the end it was pridominantly Chritains who took down a dilutional Christain.

Since history repeats itself ...well, we're seeing the same division taking place in Islam. Muslims are dividing on their beliefs, and Iraq is splitting into civil war of which many of us don't get. We can only hope that the Muslims will take care of there own ... however, reports of huge anti-semitism might drag the poor jews into a situation worse than Hitlers WWII with the hate Muslims have toward the Jews --- then Americans (representing Jews, Christians, Muslims, Hindu's, and Buddists) will have to be the one's holding mirrors to ppls faces and making them come into reality.
I think it will the Muslim American's who will put them in their place in the end.

With all the hassle the world has to go through now for security reasons in the US there are over 1200 terrorists GROUPS in 150 cities with weapons. They hire an American to guard the front as they seem to be training back out in the woods. The FBI has an 'eye' on them they say, BUT HOW DID THEY GET HERE? There IS a problem with militant Muslims who want to TAKE OVER THE WORLD. Can the Muslims here claim they are not aware of this mission of terrorism in conquering the world? I think advising others, especially in the public eye, the urgency to act now with pressure on govt to deal with terrorists HERE. The govt of Iran said 'I hope all American Jews will move to Israel so we don't have to kill them all over the world'.

Sure. It's actually very easy.

11) Stop stereotyping all Muslims according to one's prejudices.
2) Treat the vast majority of Muslims who are not violent like decent human beings-which they are.
3) This will discredit the real extremists in the eyes of the great majority of Muslims. They will then take care of these extremists themselves, for the most part.
4) We can then focus our efforts on dealing with the few they miss.

Of course, this requires that one actually practice what Christ (and Mohammed and Budda, etc) taught about being fair, just, and judging others by heir actions and not engaging in bigotry.

But hate is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much easier--you don't have to think--just respond like a stupid animal.

I merely point out a basic LOGIC point, which is that if what you said were true you would not have to bring in the other so-called fact. By strict logic one would say that ALL are violent. Less killing is still killing. Is there a nice and acceptable amount of killing for you ? How telling !!!

If you don't want to live in fear, then don't. Most of it is a figment of your imagination in the first place.

What is the best way to stop ANY violence from destroying your life? You have a lot more likely ways to die than from muslims, and most of those ways are within a mile of your front door.

Stop lying, make peace, no more weapons of mass destruction used against them. If you hadn't noticed we had no terrorism before 911 and since then over 500,000 of them have died and now more Americans died in war than died at the Trade Towers. War is a money maker. Follow that logic to the inevitable conclusion. Harm not the oil or the wine!

Right, there was terrorism before 911 but the effect of it was quite small and statistically ineffectual. Who do you think performed or was behind those acts? Better do your homework. Don't believe anything you hear until you do your own investigation.
