Depends upon the retreat, but typically, you learn more about the Bible, Jesus, recharging your faith, and bond with other Christians. The sleeping arrangements are often in a camp style setting (where you bring your own towels and bedding) with several people (same sex) to a room. Some retreats offer a private hotel room where no bedding or towels are necessary.

Normally the sleeping arrangements are guys in one room and girls in another. As to what do you do at them, you make time for personal contact with God through prayer and you get to know the people in your church better by socializing. Some young people even find a boyfriend or girlfriend on a retreat. I know a couple who have been married since '99 and they met on a retreat. They have 5 or 6 kids now (I loose track).

Dear xo,
I do not attend church at all. I do not suppose that you are familiar with the Great Tribulation spoken of in Matthew 24? We are in the midst of that tribulation period which precedes the return of the LORD Jesus. The church age ended in 1988. At that particular point in time, the Lord stopped using all the local congregations (2 Thessalonians 2). Since the Spirit of God is no longer saving anyone in these local congregations and satan is now ruling their, ALL true christians are commanded to leave the church (Matthew 24:15, 16). If you will read Revelation 18, particularly verse 4, the LORD again is commanding His people to leave the churches which have become Babylon. Towards the end of Rev 18 pleanotice that the voice of the Bridegroom (Christ) is no longer heard there. Neither is the voice of the Bride (believers) heard there any longer. That means anyone left in the church (Babylon) is a servant of satan.
Read Jeremiah 23 and start praying to the LORD for understanding and obedience to what He states in the Bible.

It depends on what kind of retreat and where the retreat is located.
If its a retreat for the entire church then you can sleep in tents. Families can sleep in the same tent. If teens want to be together in a tent seperate the males and females and put them on either side of the camp.
Any other questions feel free to IM me.
