These guys got so jealous of me walking up, sitting on my brother's lap, and burrowing my head into his chest. Why?? We are just brother and sister. We are also very close to eachother. Why were they jealous??

it might not be jealousy. It is an unusual behavior to see between brother and sister

people get jealous for many reasons. a common one is that they've been wronged in the past and have become worried it'll happen again. when someone is hurt, they act in ways that you might not understand. besides, everyone's different, so it might be just those guys, and i'm sure you could find a couple that weren't so jealous of you. explain to any new guy who you have interest in that you are close and that it shouldn't bother him.

You will find that a lot of teen brothers and sisters don't have much closeness in the family. Always argueing and fussing over little things. Because you and your brother are close,then stay that way. There's nothing better than keeping love real in the family.

WELL? normally brothers and sisters aren't that close to each other. So they are probably thinking other bad thoughts. Besides why would you want them to see you and him acting that way toward each other? that gives them room for those kinds of thoughts.

Most people do things like that with a person whom they are physically attracted to. I dont think the guys are jealous, it probably irks the hell out of them.

I get pretty jealous when it comes to my girlfriend, but its kind of odd that they would get jealous of you being near your brother, that would never make me even remotely jealous.

Beats me. Years ago a sister of mine was in the Army and was going overseas. She stopped by my place of employment to say good-bye and gave me a kiss on my lips. Everyone thought that she must have been my girlfriend for some reason.

but anyways... they arent jealous of your brother exactly. they are jealous that they arent the one you are sitting on.
