It's enviromental, from the cradle! It's repeticious chanting of mantras with much self flagelation and dramatic body language, very loud emotional vowing and wailing untill worked into a writhing frenzy, this is what happens to masses that are uneducated and filled with needs that go wanting! They blame and focus on any who do not believe exactly as themselves. It's time we realize and stop "throwing pearls ----- ------"

genetic--this issue goes all the way back to the days of Abraham, from his out of wedlock son and his legitimate son. bible even states how out of wedlock son was a bully and a thug, just like most Muslims. that's what happens when you go outside of marriage to have a child. go ahead and read that part of the bible about Issac and Ishmael. rag heads have never been happy since. seems to me they are the intolerant ones..

In most cases religion is purely an accident of birth
if born a catholic or a muslim etc you will continue to be one unless you can break out of the cycle by thinking things out for yourself.
