Thanks all...I have been doing a rediculous dance of hopping into Victorian Tub and placing foot on water filled Cat Litter bucket and towel for 3 weeks now....I was hoping I could submerge it by now...as I use a soft boot cast....but alas...it is not to be...yet....Thanks again!!!!

You do not have to wait. You can have a soak. Just cover your foot with a garbage bag and duct tape it on. make sure there are no hole so no water gets in. You might want some assistance getting in and out.

You don't have to wait. If you are wearing a cast or a brace that can not be removed put a plastic bag over it and tape it closed 2-3 inches above the top of the cast or brace. Don't use paper tape. Duct tape and trash bags are great for this. Prop your foot up on the side of the tub

I busted my ankle last year and all I could do for 4 months was take baths(I hate them I prefer showers). I simply just kept my ankle up out of the water and washed my leg with a cloth, careful not to get the cast wet.

Well, it depends with the severity of the broken foot, depending on your bathtub, you can still lie, ONLY WITH YOUR FOOT STICKING OUT FROM THE TUB. Not trying to have people diasgree with my idea, but its safe as long as you have someone to guide and help you afterwards from coming out of the tub. Hoped that helped, and good luck!

Keep your foot elevated out of the tub and get in!! Call your Dr. and make sure that is ok. I guess but that is what I would do!!

Ask your doctor. For sure the cast has to come off first!
