Oaky, so, technically male pregnancy is possible, right, but it would have to be in the form of an abdominal pregnancy, which is pretty dangerous. I was wondering, would it be possible to transplant a uterus into a male and if the uterus transplant was successful would male pregnancy be possible?

What Cricket said -- men don't produce the right set of hormones to sustain a pregnancy.
Furthermore, men produce testosterone, which would result in overmasculinization of the developing fetus. The man would have to be castrated to keep this from happening -- and then he'd not really be a man any more.

If a man got a uterine transplant, he would have to be on anti rejection medications just like any other transplant. And I'm betting that a fetus would not be able to grow with all of those strong meds.

A man can't have a pregnancy, and there's no need for him to. Also, castration does not make someone not a man anymore. What poor answers...

To sustain that pregnancy the man would have to go thru daily injections of hormones usually secreted by a womans body.

the uterus would likely not 'take' since the cellular composition is alien to the male cells. You have to have a close tissue match to transplant organs.. Its not going to work until you find a guy with ovaries, and then once a month he is just going to complain about the operation anyway.......

the only what to make this posibile is if you change most of the body parts in a males body because when a women is pregenant, most of the hormones are affected by the majority of the body
