My b/f came to my conference meet for gymnastics to support me. I ended up spraining my ankle on my last event.He carried me to the trainer and helped me walk up to the podium to take my second place medal.
Why do his friends call him whipped for this??

They are just having fun with him. Any one of them would do the same thing for their girlfriend.

Because he doen't have good friends. His friends do not know what a real man is. You need to let your bf know that he is an amazing guy and he did the right thing. Some guys think it's being whipped when you show your girl love, but it's just the opposite. Show him even more love for the act that he did, he did a great thing. Don't let his friends get to his head, tell him too that he should find some better friends.

Because that's what guys do. However, that's not whipped. That's just being loving. Hopefully he has the will to tell his friends off.
Whipped is when you ditch all your other relationships and do whatever your gal says at the drop of a hat.

he sounds wonderful to me... I mean if he did everything you asked him to maybe it would be sufficient to call him whipped, but what he did sounds like a good boyfriend. Especially since you got hurt he couldn't just leave you there. Tell him not to listen to his friends. Like others have said, they are probably jealous anyway.

because most guys always give eachother a hard time when they get to the point in a relationship when they go outta their way to care and do things for their girl....and they say hes whipped bc he does things for you out of his way that he wouldnt do for his buddies........hope it helped
