Demand for more correctional officers will go up if this war keeps depleating our treasury and our communities keep getting less and less funding for good schools and community centers to keep kids off the streets. This is the basic equation for all western cultures throughout the 20th century. The less attention to our citizens and making sure they are taken care of and educated so they have opportunities the higher the rate of prisons needed and the faster they are filled.

A greater demand for more prisons and correctional facilities will greatly increase the need for personnel to staff them. Don't count on an y decrease in crime, so correctional officers wi8ll always be in demand, if not in one area of the state, then another area.
