Democracy is a grossly over rated concept. Yes, it is good to have, may be great to have but not must...

I guess you want a theocracy?

You're right it is over-rated - in a democracy, even someone as ignorant and foolish as you is entitled to an opinion.

The short answer is yes, democracy is an unsupportable government, doomed to destruction. That is why it is to be avoided at all costs. Many people believe the US is a democracy. Nothing could be further from the truth. Nor is it a representative democracy as some would like to believe. We are a Federal Republic.

Samuel Adams, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, championed the new Constitution in his state precisely because it would not create a democracy. "Democracy never lasts long," he noted. "It soon wastes, exhausts and murders itself." He insisted, "There was never a democracy that did not commit suicide."

New York's Alexander Hamilton, in a June 21, 1788 speech urging ratification of the Constitution in his state, thundered: "It has been observed that a pure democracy if it were practicable would be the most perfect government. Experience has proved that no position is more false than this. The ancient democracies in which the people themselves deliberated never possessed one good feature of government. Their very character was tyranny; their figure deformity." Earlier, at the Constitutional Convention, Hamilton stated: "We are a Republican Government. Real liberty is never found in despotism or in the extremes of Democracy."

Even Benjamin Franklin was asked about the type of government the US had created, and his reply was, "A republic, if you can keep it."

The founding fathers detested Democracy. Until the 1950's, the dictionary passed out to students at Anapolis called Democracy the worst form of government. One year later, it was changed to read 'the best form of government.'

When exercised properly, it's certainly a good thing. The democracy part, not "demon crazy."

I prefer democracy, however I wouldn't mind visiting a demon crazy. Perhaps Venezuela would fit this description, they did elect that demon Chavez.
