Laser eye surgery is very safe nowadays. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges Laser surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your Dental surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

My cousin got her Dental surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Fly2india4health Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps

For most people, yes. Over 95% of people are happy to very happy with the result, even if it has left some degree of side or after-effect, and again, that's only a small percentage of people. (but if it's you, the incidence is 100%: you don't get a percentage of the problem.) The most common reasons for dissatisfaction are: Rx afterwards not as near zero as hoped Flare or glare at night, Dry eyes, temporarily or permanently. The more severe problems are very rare, but they do exist. I have had people I could not correct to decent vision with glasses or contact lenses, following laser refractive surgery. The odds are very good. But risk-free it isn't, which is why you'll be asked to sign a consent form saying you understand that. A sample consent form is below: just one I found on-line, I have no connection with the site or business. See also the FDA site for more information.

It generally costs around £300 per eye. I work for an optician and although I'm against it the percentage of it going wrong has gone. down. Depending on which type of contacts u wear might make a difference(for eg if you wear hard or gas permeable) If you have a very high prescription you may need to sacrifice quality for quantity, also you have to be aware that it won't prevent u from requiring reading glasses as u get older.Hope this helps.

I had mine done several years ago with Optimax. It was painless and took 10 minutes. However, once the anaesthetic had worn off it was very painful, and it took me quite a long time to recover properly. I had both eyes done at once (better if you are scared)
After all is said and done I am sooooo glad I did it.
I was shortsighted and hated wearing glasses and lenses irritated alot when left in all day. I haven't regretted the treatment once. The down side is I have to wear glasses for reading etc, but that's a small price to pay. The cost is from 300 upwards. Good luck.

No one can tell you exactly. Except your eye doctor or the Lasik eye surgeons. It all depends on whether or not your have decent eye site and its not that bad, than its not going to cost much. But if you have really bad eye site and need some of your glasses or contacts custom made and cost around 500-600 dollars than its probably going to be costly. :(. But, I receive advertisements in the mail and I've seen them start at about $299 (TX) per eye! Which I think is pretty decent. But it all depends on your level of vision. How bad or good it is.

Hope this helps :) Good Luck :)

First thing to do is to see a laser eye clinic (or more than one) to ascertain if your condition can be corrected by the treatment offered, then make your choice,my daughter had laser surgery completely painless and the results were 100%,

I believe the treatment is about 6-9 seconds on each eye and is not painful at all. I want to say around $2,000, but I don't know how insurance and all that comes into play.

£495 per eye,
some people cancel there appointment at the last minute and all the big company's can't offer the spare appointments at a reduced rate because everyone would want the same price, so they sell them on ebay for half price......
