I am going on travel for work next week. A guy I work with and I have been flirting for a while and have acknowledge a mutual attraction. We haven't acted on it because I told him I wasn't ready for a relationship or even FWB.

Now I am ready. I asked him to come out with a group of us to dinner and he said he was busy during the day but his evenings should be free. Since then I haven't said anything else because I don't have the details.

I want to call on Monday to tell him I want to see him while I am down there and ask him if he wants to get together. If he says he'll call me back after he checks his schedule, would I be too direct if I said "if you have to check your schedule, then you must not want to see me that badly."

Sometimes, he has a habit of not wanting to appear to be too interested, making me wonder and I don't want to play games. I hate waiting! How should I approach it?

He is not going to ask me. I've said no twice. Not because I didn't like him but I told him I just wasn't ready yet.

No, it is not a good idea to say that because it will close the door on any possible relationship. Maybe he is shy or he wants to make the first move. Don't push it.

Be Patient. I know that its hard at times, but it does pay in the long run. If he tells you he needs to check his schedule, maybe he has other plans, they may be Business. Go ahead and ask him, but if it wants to play hard to get, you need to close the chapter on that one.. good Luck

hes probably excited that you called and if he is a busy man he may not whats in his schedule but really does want to see you........i dont know many guys that wouldnt go out with a girl who they have been flirting with and she takes the intiative......just give him just a little time. if hes shy he gotta build the courage to call you and meet with you....remember patience its a virtue

myself, i think if he has asked u out twice already and you turned him down, you should be the one to ask. i think he is trying to not be rejected again.
