My boyfriend of two and a half years and I broke up about 3 weeks ago. We have been through a lot in our relationship. I do believe that he loves me, and I'm not quite sure of all the reasons why we broke up. Anyway, we have a mutual friend who told him that I had a date. Our friend told me that he sounded like it really bothered him. He asked me about it and I told him it was true, and he sounded a little angry. So I asked if he was angry and he said no no not at all that he was just curious. Then he said "that's fine honey. I'm not mad at all. In truth I'm hanging out with Niki this weekend." Niki is a long time friend of his and I know that she isn't interested in him and I pretty positive he isn't interested in her. What does this all mean??? Advice, please!

It sounds to me like he is jealous and just testing you. Maybe you Both should see other people. It will help you both to mature and learn from your experiences, and if in time you two do get back together, hopefully the relationship will be stronger.

He still might have feelings for you, but it's still over. Jealousy doesn't always mean love...
