I started feeling lightheaded Tuesday and on a 1-10 scale it was about a 3. It was about the same on Wednesday. Then on Thursday, I would rate it as about a 6 or 7 and then it has been like a 3-4 since. I have no idea what to do. I have been lying down and drinking a lot of fluids. I have had a sinus infection before and I was very lightheaded from that, but the thing is, I am don't have a congested nose or any other symptoms. I am 16 years old. I don't really know what I should do.

It would be unusual at your age but you could have low blood pressure - can you get it checked? Also, your ears might be blocked as a result of the sinus infection, which would lead to your feeling giddy ... have you got any discomfort there? I'd have a word with a pharmacist, who ought to be able to advise you whether it's worth consulting a doctor. Good luck.

The next time you experience this have one of your parents take you to the emergency room, or to have a CT scan done.
