i have decided that if my boyfriend of three years doesnt move in with me by the start of april i am going to dump him on the first day of his local cricket team starts this season.

it will be a saturday and he will be spending most of the day there and they usually spend most of the night there after the match getting drunk whether they win or lose just coz its the first match.

so basically i know he will be ok if i dump him that day as he will be with his mates anyway.
and its a saturday so i can go out with my mates round town.

so what is the best way to tell him if it happens coz chances are it will.

Give him the ultimatum now - "Move in by the end of March or I need to move on with my life." He'll either get his act together or run for the hills, but either way you will know and you won't be trampling all over his feelings. It sounds to me, however, that you are using this as an excuse and are yearning for some freedom - make sure of your own real feelings before you start taking steps that will affect his, for both your sakes.

If you want to be free then be honest; if you want to be with him then don't drive him away just because he might not yet be ready to take that next step, but at the same time be sure he'll be ready to take that step someday.

I know it sounds cheezy, but the best way is to just be honest. The more honest you are, the better he'll understand, the better the break up will be, But make sure you do it privately, there is nothing more embarrassing then being dumped in front of other people.

Probably the best solution would be to tell him that you decided to have a break from the relationship for a while and then you should change your number.

You obviously cant be that in love with him if you are thinking about how you are going to dump him 3 months in advance. Why wait that long if hes not the one for you. stop stringing him along.

Perhaps write a note explaining the reasons why it isn't working for the two or you and why you think it better you both move on.

There is no good way. Don't break up with him your going to mess everything up. Why do you want to force him to move in give him time.
