Whilst it's fair to say that JJ isn't the perfect Muslim (who is really??) I think his conduct in the big brother house is typical of true muslims - unassuming, well spoken, humane, loving and calming. With that in mind I'd like to see more of him on TV representing Islam in stead of the far-right Jihad touting wierdo's they always have on... where do they find those people from anyway?!?!

i'm not muslim or hindu but i've never heard a hindu say that Shilpa is the public face of Hinduism. And I think she has been though more and come out of top.
Why do you muslims always see each person as a religion? We are all human beings first.

Why cant peoples belief's be their own private thing. Just cause he seems nice and well rounded why should he "represent" Islam.
I understand your sentiment with all the anti - muslim crap that is out there now but must people always plug thier religion !?

Your view of Islam has been influenced by some "never hasbeen" on a trashy TV show for a low IQ audience.
To qualify as a true muslim, you must follow the teaching of the Quoran.The teaching of the quoran demands that you must take its writings literally.
The quoran demands the death and destruction of all infidels(aka non muslims).
All this said,its likely hes just riding the wave of islamic gains in britain.If he prays in private I will eat my hat!

Its reported on the internet that the interview he did about converting is a hoax.
The man who posted it ,got in touch with the newspaper it was in and they denied it had ever been printed by them.

I like Jermaine. He is very nice man, a worthy opponent to win Celeb BB. Good Muslims don't tend to get news coverage, only the extremists so it's good that he is being portrayed this way.
