There's this guy i met at my workplace, we exchanged emails. The first email I get from him is for a date, but I was a little bit scared about it so I didn't answer him. Then we chatted and he kept insisting on the date. I freaked out and told him that I only wanted to be friends, but we still chat and flirt (I think) online. But after those 2-3 days of flirting... I think I want that date... Do I still have a chance? Did I ruin my chances? How can I let him know that I want that date?

Well since your still flirting and chatting, no I don't think you ruined your chances. Ask him out! Just tell him you were rethinking that date thing and want to know if he wants to see a movie or something.

He's a guy, you didn't ruin anything. You ask him. Just say, "Hey how about a movie," or what ever. This is 2007, guys dont have to do the asking anymore. Now he might turn you down because you did, but in a couple of days ask again. He did, but I think he will say yes anyways. Good luck.

just e-mail him and be honest: say something like, "i thought about it and would like to take you up on your date offer after all." don't talk about freaking out or other stuff cause that will make him back off. just be cool and casual. if he sets up a date plan after getting the e-mail, cool. if he doesn't, "he just not that into you." but in all honestly, i doubt you completely ruined your chances unless he's completely an ego maniac who can't handle being told, "let's be friends." and if so, then you don't need him...

No, You still have a chance, If he really likes yo uliek he says he does, then he will go on the date with you, either wait for him to ask, or ask him yourself, like even say " so about that date.." he'll get the point and things will work out. :)

no i dont think you ruined your chances, if you are still flirting then obviously hes still interested. just ask him when hes taking you out on that date, and if he says something about you turning him down say you changed your mind and see where it goes from there....so atleast the door is opened to see how it plays out.....hope it works

i don't think its ever too late, (well unless one of you died or something) just tell him that you were scared before and now you are sorry and really like him and do want to go out. Hope he says yes that's about all you can do. you didn't mess up you were just unsure. Good Luck
