My fiance got in some trouble as a minor and is finishing up his "time". It's a long story but i'm not going into that. He is in state custody now at a youth development center maybe for 6-15months we don't know yet.

I wish he wasn't in there so we could something so special for V-day. What could i send him that he would love?

I was thinking a really nice card a picture, the lyrics to that song "my valentine" by Martina and some chocolates, since the food there isn't great!!

does that sound ok? or should i just stick w/a card and a letter? he's already got 4 pictures....

(granted i know you are thinking why are you wasting your life with this guy. I don't love him for his record or felonies i love him for what is in his heart, which people tend to look past and judge him for what he has done. that's wrong nobody is better than anybody. Money or no money nice house nice car or no nice house or nice car EVERYONE deserves somebody and somebody that will love them at that).

i really wouldn't want him looking at Hustler magazine, currency or no currency. He has me that is enough. No Jenna Jameson for him, sorry! that is saying i don't care.

I think as long as you let him know you love him he should be fine, but chocolates and a card would be sweet

I promise, I'm not going to be negative. No matter what you decide to send, send a picture. My boyfriend was in basic-training a few states away and we always sent each other pictures because it helps you feel like you're there with them, participating in their life like you wish you actually were. I say a heart-felt letter and a picture or two has the potential to be sweet.

Can't say anything bad cause I've been there myself, the card is okay, but maybe a poem or special letter would be nice. As far as the chocolates, you better check with his facility, they are picky about what you can send.

That's very sweet and thoughtful of you! Although, instead of lyrics of some song, why don't you write some of your own? It just seems to say "I really do Care" when you give someone something of your own that you took time to make. Hope that helped :)

Everything you said, plus throw in a Hustler Magazine. It'll be great entertainment for him, and he can use it as currency while he's in the joint.

I'd like the picture.. but that'd be my own personal opinion. Letter and card would be nice too.

Because of the predicament, all i can suggest is that you remain his rock for support...continue sending him letters and take advantage of the visits. When he gets out, recreate the first date that you and him shared together...RIGHT DOWN TO EVERY DETAIL!!! Guys love that sort of thing...

that sounds great..plus who cares that he already has four pictures...you can still send him some more...if i was you i would also send him a letter showing him that you care because it can get lonely there.
