I hit a pothole and ruined two wheels, but when I went to get new ones, I found I have GM 15" wheels on my car and I don't know what model to ask for at the salvage yard to get replacements

Check the owner's manual for specs. Technically there is no such thing as a GM tire, only various sizes.

A gm 5 bolt pattern is a gm 5 bolt pattern. in a nutshell one Gm 15 inch wheel will have the same specs as another gm 15 inch wheel

Not being familiar with the engine. However many modern engines run such fine tolerances that when the cam belt goes the valves will be saying howdy doody to the pistons which will be doing their damdest to slam them through the cylinder head. The result of this is mechanical carnage inside the engine with lots of very expensive bits getting damaged and broken. Repairs in a case like this seldom cost less than what the car is worth. Therefore they are not usually worth doing Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings.

Check the bolt patten look for ford or chevy ?
