I had exactly the same issues when sending my son's cv written with works. Best to get Office pack - it includes Word. I had a similar problem with spreadsheets on Works. When receiving Excel s/sheets, I struggled to open then. Suggest you get Office.

Save it as a rich text format file. Any word processing application can open an rtf. Open your document in MS Works, go to File, then Save As. In the save as box, click the drop-down menu and select Rich Text format, give it a filename, and click save.

Save the document as an .rtf (rich text format) file by using the Save As function under the File menu. This can then be read by any word processor including yours. Instead of opening it in "My Documents" you open your word processor and select File, Open, and file type .rtf (the default is .wps). Hope this helps.

Works is a fine program, and especially the integration of word processor documents and spreadsheets, but only as long as you don't have to send or receive files to or from anyone else with Word or Excel, etc.

You should probably try using a Works to Word converter. There are a ton available if you do a web search, though I'd recommend one which comes directly from Microsoft.

You would be best thinking about Office XP, or saving it as an html file and letting them view it as a webpage.

attempt renaming the record. the ending for note is .record. in the adventure that your report call is attempt.txt, operating example, rename it attempt.record, and if would open in note. If no longer, open it in word pad and reproduction and paste into note and then re-format it.
