Does the fact of my bf involving himself in the things that I am involved in, mean that he's getting serious?

Upon entering this relationship, my bf and I were skiddish because of the bad breakups prior...it took a while, but it seems that the less i push the more my bf wants to go more things together and with my family. The problem is that I tend to analyze everything and i don't want to come up with the wrong conclusion. He is a person of few words and his actions are favorable. I need the advice of males and females...
