Yeah, like when im walking, or talking on the phone with him he's always quiet and doesnt really talk. When we talk, we talk about stupid stuff, like he asks me "Whats on you're mind" or things like that. What could I do so it's not like that? And my friend says he loves me. Well thats what he told her. I have no idea what to do.

Yes were teens, and we've been together for a week. So I dont really think the reason is that he doesnt like me.

I'm in the same situation. I have asked him why his so serious when his around me or on the phone with me and he tells me that because I'm always on the phone or that I always do something to pist him off and that makes him not want to start a conversation with me. But that ain't nothing but BS! cuz I know what gets him mad and I know the things not to do when I'm around him other than that I hate the fact that he will only show me affection when his drunk and when we're around alot of people or his friends when we're by ourselves he shows me no love. It does fustrate me but I know that he'll change little by little cuz we do talk about what each other does wrong it will just be a matter of time. Maybe u should do the same thing and sit down and talk to ur boyfriend and let him know how u feel and ask him whats wrong and just listen. Good Luck!

sounds like he is a shy quiet type. Im sure if he said he loves you to your friend he probably means its. But if the shy quiet type is not the type you want to be with then its might be time to move on. If its just a case of I like him but Im not sure if he likes me because he is quiet, then just take it as thats his personality. its doesnt mean he doesnt love you. but there is not a whole lot you can do to change his whole personality. ONe thing you could do is start asking him more questions to try and draw him out, other than that there isnt much you can do. dont ask him why he is so quiet, cause thats just going to frustrate him andand make him withdrawal even more.

Well, instead of asking him what he thinks, ask him some questions with some punch. ooh like "what's your philosophy about premarital sex"? "What about the female body excites you"? "What do you think is the best way to entice a girl into the bedroom"? Once he gets the lethargy out of his mind, he should be free to answer any question you have, like, "do these pants make me look fat"? What I am saying is sometimes it takes a bit of a shock to get a young guy to open up. Once you get it to happen though, it usually stays that way. Note: there are some dufusses that just don't have the intelligence to compile a complete sentence. Those you just walk away from.

has he been quiet before??? he might not really want to be with you anymore.. if he's always quiet and him asking you whats on your mind. maybe he's asking you that to see where your head is.. if your still feeling the relationship. or maybe he doesn't know what to talk about. try to start a convo with him.. but, if you guys are together you both should have something to talk about.. i don't know.. its kinda strange.

He's probably shy. that's how my boyfriend was. Just try talking to him. Eventually he'll loosen up once he gets more comfortable talking to you.
Also, talk about stuff that interest both of you. When on the phone and you dont know what to talk about. try asking him what his favorite band is. or you could play the "What's your favorite". i did that with mine.

I was dating someone and We could be on the phone or just be together and not have to say anything, Atleast we were together, that just means he's comfortable with the relationship, so it's a good thing, don't get paranoid. :)

He's just shy.-otherwise, talk to him, not about stupid stuff, ask him things that are more personal, if he's still on the "shy" side, say you're trying to get to know him, get him to "open-up",etc.

yeah so if ur friend is telling u the truth...he does love you...he just doesnt know how to tell you...just keep talking to him...ask him questions make him talk too...may be hard but its worth a try

Um my bf does the same. I tell him im not about to hold the phone and listen to him breath and then he starts saying well you aint talkin either then I say and you called me. Then voila a conversation

hes either shy or content there isnt always need for words,but when he asks whats on your mind thats him maybe realising theres more to your silence so tell him love means being honest aswell so he wont mind
